“Opposite the Left Bank”: a documentary portrait of Rostov-on-Don
A documentary portrait of Rostov-on-Don: eight young authors film their city and change how they see it along the way, while the director films the process itself — a “nesting-doll” film. Urban Factory was the local partner and on-site organiser.

About the film
“Opposite the Left Bank” is a documentary portrait of Rostov-on-Don. Eight young authors film the city and, as they work, change how they see it. Director Evgeny Grigoriev films the process itself, so the result is a “nesting-doll” film: a film about the city and about people discovering it.
